February 27, 2003 - InterACTIVE Nutrition International Inc.®, an Ottawa-based leader in Active Nutrition, and makers of the Award-winning SoyOne™ for Women protein shakes, is partnering with Dare to Dream (www.daretodream.ca) for a cancer fundraising event unlike any other. Funds raised from the "Bathroom Talk" celebrity photo fundraiser will support The Richard Patten Cancer Prevention Fund.
The fund's mission is based on the fact that most cancer research is used for pharmaceutical treatment, this fund will be used differently. Its purpose will be to support the research of root causes, to promote prevention and to educate on non-pharmaceutical complimentary or alternative treatment as well as maximizing the individual cancer victim's ability to contribute to their own healing process.
