August 20th, 2005 — Over the weekend, InterACTIVE Nutrition International Inc. teamed up with Neutron Fitness and Sports for the 2005 Canadian Natural Nationals and Ms. Fitness Canada event! Saturday, at the Alumni Theatre at Carleton University, 39 natural athletes took the stage in front of over 300 people to compete for the titles: Most Symmetrical, Most Muscular and Ms. Fitness Canada.
InterACTIVE Nutrition headlined the event and provided product for all the competitors, category winners, as well as the overall winners. During the event InterACTIVE Nutrition provided audience members with free samples, as well as a chance to win one of two prize packages valued at $100.00.
When the evening came to a close Pamela Nesrallah, VP of InterACTIVE Nutrition, took the stage to present the trophies to the overall winners for Most Symmetrical, Most Muscular and Ms. Fitness Canada.
During this Weekend of Champions, Neutron, along with its sponsors, held Neutron Kids, a kid’s incentive development program for underprivileged children. These 40 kids, from the Oshawa area and their parents took part in this huge event. They enjoyed a fun packed weekend including a meal with the athletes following the competition. As well, InterACTIVE Nutrition was able to get two of the Ottawa Renegades, Donnie Ruiz and Mike Sutherland, to take part in breakfast and an autograph session with the kids.
InterACTIVE Nutrition’s sponsored fitness athlete Sarah Zahab was among the athletes competing for the Ms. Fitness Canada title. When the event was all said and done, Sarah finished in second place just missing the Ms. Fitness Canada title. Sarah did secure a spot at the Ms. Fitness World competition that will be taking place on September 10th, 2005 in Las Vegas when she won the Ms. Fitness Eastern Canada event back in April.
