August 8th, 2005 – On Monday August 8th, the Dewaan Foundation held its 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at GreyHawk Golf Club in Cumberland. Being one of the major sponsors, InterACTIVE Nutrition made a generous donation, as well provided all 200 golfers with protein bars to help them through the hot day. Following a tough day of golf, participants were invited to a buffet style dinner.
Proceeds from the tournament were given to a number of charities including: The Ottawa Heart Institute, Saint-Vincent Hospital, CHEO, The Canadian Cancer Foundation, Elizabeth Bruyere Health Center, Ottawa Food Bank, Snowsuit Fund, Sobriety House and the Shepherds of Good Hope. This year the tournament raised about $25,000 to help these worthy charities.
