The 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament by Royal Bank of Canada is being held on Monday, June 4th 2007, at Christie Lake Kids, 400 Coventry Rd. Ottawa ON K1K 2C7. This event is held in support of Christie Lake Kids.
There will be fabulous food (Lunch and Dinner), Award Presentation, Silent Auction, a Celebrity Emcee, Wayne Rostad to entertain you and a great day of golf!
InterACTIVE Nutrition is providing all 144 golfers with protein bars to help them through the hot day.
Christie Lake Kids offers recreational and skill development programs at no cost to economically disadvantaged children in the Ottawa area between the ages of 6-16 years old.
Through their programs, Christie Lake STAR (Skills through Activities and Recreation) and Christie Lake Camp, they assist children and youth to develop skills in the arts, recreation and athletics, which in turn builds leadership skills, self-confidence and the positive outlook that they need to break out of the poverty cycle and become young people contributing back to society.
