This year is the 150th anniversary of the town of Kemptville, and in honour of this anniversary and its rich hockey tradition, it is very fitting that the community be rewarded with a franchise in the highest level of regional Junior hockey – the Central Junior Hockey League.
The Kemptville 73's are granted the Central Junior Hockey League ("CJHL") Junior "A" franchise for the 2007-2008 season.
With its rich hockey tradition, its dedicated base of volunteers and community and corporate support, the Kemptville 73's promise to be an excellent addition to the CJHL.
