Background:
Natalie grew up in Northern Ontario, Canada, where she remained until she graduated from high school. At age 18 she moved to Ottawa to pursue her post-secondary education. She graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in human resources, and today she works as a human resources officer for the federal government.
Natalie knew at a very early age that she wanted to make a name for herself. She has always been active in sports, and got involved in pageant-type modeling when she was in her early teens. After attending the Gauvreau School of Performing Arts modeling program at age 13, she entered her first pageant, Miss Teen Sudbury, that same year. From then on, she competed in pageants at the regional, provincial, national and international levels. These various competitions allowed her to develop skills in both stage presentation and public speaking.
In 2005 Natalie started competing in figure competitions, and did better than she could have ever imagined, winning her first two regional competitions, provincials and advancing to the National level. Since then she has captured the CBBF World Qualifier Overall title in Figure, represented Canada at the World's in Spain, and was the winner of her Figure Class at the 2008 Arnold Amateur Figure Championships. Natalie believes in training naturally, without performance enhancing drugs, and pushing herself to the limits. She hopes to promote a positive and healthy image to all those around her and stresses the importance of a healthy and fit lifestyle.
